Grading Criteria: Grade 1: Standard optical glass, edged, free of visible scratches, chips, stains or oxidation. Grade 2: Unedged, non-optical glass, small chips, slight stains or other defects. Grade 3: Larger edge chips, minor scratches, more oxidation, etc. than those items listed in grade 2. Specifications for Experimental Optics may vary as much as 10% from those listed.
